Knitted Catnip Mouse Toy
My two cats love their new cat toys. The pattern is from a book by Schoolhouse Press. I can't remember which one at the moment. I'll post it later. It's a design by Meg Swansen or her mom, Elizabeth Zimmermann. It knits up quickly in Icelandic wool. I buy unspun Icelandic wool in wheels from Schoolhouse Press. The mouse is felted, stuffed with whatever is on hand and fabric pouches are sewn for a bell and catnip to add to the belly of the mouse which is then sewn up and ready for play. Easy and fun.
